Ever wonder where BMW got their corporate logo? Notice how this photo of a 9-cylinder (!) radial aircraft engine built by BMW resembles the company's logo, though in an impressionistic way. I'm no art critic, but I know it when I see it, as the Supreme Court of the US once famously decreed about pornography, I think it was. Anyway, just imagine the hand-craftsmanship which went into this very powerful engine.
