Jay Leno Corvette "Green" Engine

At the SEMA SHOW in Las Vegas just two weeks before the LA Auto Show, where we first saw this car, Jay Leno said, "The C6RS is the result of an idea we hatched to prove that high-performance cars and alternative fuel technology weren't diametrically opposed concepts," said Leno, who increasingly sounds like the voice of reason when it comes to automotive trends. "I love the idea of having 600 horsepower at my disposal, but using a homegrown alternative to gasoline." That "homegrown alternative" is the 85% ethanol Leno runs through this modified 'Vette powerplant.
Leno partnered with engineering company Pratt & Miller, which builds and campaigns C6.R Corvettes, to develop his green SEMA machine.
