Aveo and Aveo5

Aveo made its debut just a few years ago in Chevrolet dealerships, but these new models are a fairly good reworking of those original cars. The Aveo seemed to almost disappear for a time, but now it's back, and with no vengeance whatsoever. We make fun of it because the car is such an obvious Asian-made machine, something we might expect from Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru) after the engineering guys had a bad day at the factory. But you can not argue with the car's mileage figures (between 26mpg and 37mpg, on average, highway and city driving combined) or its price (the sedan starts at $12,730 and the Aveo5 can be had for $10,595).
