Chevy's various Camaro concepts and prototypes have been shown publicly for the past two years, and one wonders if that's the wisest move for Chevy's marketing people. Remember when the local dealers in town would put butcher paper all over their huge windows, preparing their stores for "the new models", then hold parties for invited guests before "everyone else" got to see the cars? Well, what's wrong with a little mystery on GM's part when it comes to an important car like the Camaro? Is GM simply "testing" everyone who sees the car in the flesh and then making changes to the car based on those folks' opinions? We hope not. The worst thing would be for the official introduction of the 2009 Camaro to be a boring, been-there-done-that bust. And make no mistake ... that is possible.
