Based on my background of 35 years as a journalist covering the worldwide car, truck, motorcycle and racing industries, our company has created this Website so we'll never have to pull any punches with our opinions and analysis; we're beholding to no one and nothing but ourselves and you, our visitors. This is absolutely not another "never met a car we didn't like" clone. We cover every important issue facing the world's motorists, car-makers, racing fans and the aftermarket, from gas prices to safety, government regulations to green cars and their future, from the new clean diesels to hydrogen fuel cell EVs and everything in-between. But we know how to have fun, too, as you'll discover during your visits here. I'm a consultant and contributor to the NBC-TV auto show Whipnotic and its companion website. My column, “Tornante,” runs every other Tuesday in the Santa Monica Daily Press. And we’re proud to have created, write and moderate the only all-automotive blog on The Huffington Post. For over 15 years we’ve produced American Racing Today, national radio’s daily NASCAR news update, easily accessed on this site, as is my complete bio. We've done our job; now it's your turn. "CAR NUT TV" BEGINS FIFTH SEASON; HAS NEW HOME ON TIME-WARNER DESERT CITIES, "DCTV 111"!

IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE!
"CAR NUT TV" STARTS OUR FIFTH SEASON ...
ON A NEW TIME WARNER DESERT CITIES CHANNEL, "DCTV 111"!

"CAR NUT TV" has moved to Time Warner's all-new "Desert Cities TV Channel 111" (DCTV 111). DCTV 111 works with all Time Warner converter boxes, HD or not, digital or analog, old or new; and, as always, there's no extra charge for tuning into "CAR NUT TV". Our schedule remains Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at 11pm, on DCTV 111, following the KTLA News from Los Angeles, and another showing on Sunday afternoons at 4:30pm.
