"CONCEPT CX" BY MITSUBISHI

Los Angeles Convention Center

Here's a front view of the tidy little (and very familiar-looking to those who have visited Europe and Japan) Concept CX from Mitsubishi. With the Smart car going on-sale soon at the almost 100 dealerships in the US owned by Roger Penske, and introduced for the first time in US production trim at the LA Auto Show, and with Mini (owned and built by BMW) doing very well in the US marketplace and even introducing new models (their Clubman "station wagon"), these teeny-tiny cars usually come equipped with 660cc-or-smaller engines for the big tax benefits they carry in some of their home markets ... Why won't that happen soon in the US? I predict major tax rebates and other attractive benefits for buyers of hybrid cars and trucks and vehicles with other, newer technologies which we might not have even heard about, or even invented, as yet.
